Is John Roberts Ill?
The renowned TV newscaster has struggled with health concerns throughout the years.
In July 2018, the doctors at MedStar Washington Hospital were able to diagnose and treat his condition: clogged arteries in his heart.
According to his post from Tuesday, Roberts recently experienced a relapse following that operation and spent some time in the hospital.
On-air this afternoon, he briefly recounted the event with his co-anchor, Sandra Smith.
With three stents in his heart owing to clogged arteries caused by years of smoking, the journalist makes it a priority to eat healthily and exercise whenever possible. On weekends, he rides, golfs, and wakeboards with his family.
