American novelist, fashion designer, and television personality Lauren Katherine Conrad was born on February 1st, 1986. She rose to fame in September 2004 after being selected for the reality television program Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The show followed her and her friends as they made their way through life in their California hometown of Laguna Beach.
Later, Conrad moved to Los Angeles in order to further his career in the fashion sector. She appeared in five of the six seasons of her own spin-off series, The Hills, which ran from 2006 to 2009.
