Lauren Katherine Conrad is an American television personality, fashion designer, and novelist who was born on February 1, 1986.
She rose to prominence in September 2004, when she was cast in the reality television show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The show followed her and her pals as they navigated life in Laguna Beach, California.
Later, Conrad moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the fashion industry. She appeared in five of the six seasons of her own spin-off series, The Hills, from 2006 to 2009.
She also attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and interned at Teen Vogue and People’s Revolution, a public relations agency headed by Kelly Cutrone, during the show’s development.
Conrad went on to launch her own fashion labels, LC Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown, as well as co-founded The Little Market, an online retailer that focuses on fair trade. She has also written nine books, including trilogies such as L.A. Candy and The Fame Game.
Conrad went to Laguna Beach High School with eventual castmates Lo Bosworth, Kristin Cavallari, and Stephen Colletti. They all appeared in Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, an MTV reality show that featured their high school lives, in 2004. Throughout the series, Conrad was frequently referred to as “L.C.,” however she has since expressed disdain for the moniker.

Lauren Conrad Sister
Breanna Conrad is the younger sister of Lauren Conrad. Breanna is also referred to as “B,” her nickname. Along with her sister Lauren, she has made an appearance on the reality television program “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.” Breanna had a smaller role on the show than Lauren, who had a more significant part.
Lauren Conrad Education
As a student at Laguna Beach High School, Lauren Conrad was cast in the reality television program “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” during her senior year. She studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco after graduating from high school.
However, Lauren Conrad transferred to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles after quitting the Academy of Art University after just one semester. In 2006, she earned her degree in fashion design.
Lauren Conrad worked as an intern at several fashion businesses while she was a student at FIDM, which ultimately helped her break into the fashion world and land a part on “The Hills.” She later started her own fashion brand, wrote several books, and became a well-known businesswoman in the fashion and lifestyle sector.
