• A Latvian tourist visa is a visa issued to a foreigner visiting Latvia
  for tourism, visitation, sight-seeing, and other recreational
  purposes.
• Laotians
  visiting Latvia must have a passport not older than 10 years with a
  validity period of three months beyond their exit date and the
  passport must have two blank pages for visa stamps.
• Copies
  of the Latvian tourist visa application form.
• Two
  recently taken passport photographs not more than a month.
• Proof
  of legal residents in your origin country.
• A
  letter stating the purpose of your visit to Latvia and the duration
  of your stay in the country.
• Proof
  of your employment status and income are required.
• Travel
  health insurance amounting to 30,000 euros to cover your duration of
  stay in the country and other Schengen countries.
• Copy
  of flight reservation.
• Proof
  of accommodation or hotel reservations in Latvia.
• Bank statements of the last six months to show proof of sufficient funds to cover expenses while in Latvia. 
• Employed
  applicants are required to their letter of appointment, leave
  letter, payment slips and bank statements for the last six months.
• Retired
  applicants are required to show proof of retirement and bank
  statements of the last six months where their pension is been
  deposited.
• Self-employed
  applicants are expected to submit the following documents: Tax
  Clearance Certificate, Memorandum of Articles of Association,
  Certificate of Incorporation of Company, Certificate of
  Registration, Personal Income Certificate, letter of introduction
  and their personal and business bank statements for the past six
  months.
• If
  you are a student you are required to submit an attestation letter
  from your school stating that the school authority is aware of your
  absence.
• Minors
  traveling without their parents are required to submit a consent letter signed by both parents stating that they are aware of your trip. Applicants traveling with one parent are expected to submit a
  consent letter signed by the absent parent.

  Latvian business visa is a short-term Schengen visa issued to
  foreigners visiting Latvia for business transactions.
• Laotians who intend to attend trade fairs, conferences, business meetings or
  to sign business deals in Latvia can apply for this visa.
• The
  Latvian visa allows foreigners to stay and travel within Latvia for
  a duration of 90 days.
• A
  duly completed and signed Latvian business visa application form is
  required.
• A
  passport with at least three months validity and two blank pages for
  visa stickers is required.
• Recently
  taken passport sized photographs.
• A
  letter from the inviting company in Latvia is required.The letter
  must state the detailed address of the company and your travel dates
  and the purpose of your visit to the country.
• A
  letter from your employer stating that he is aware of your business
  trip is required.
• A
  letter stating if the Latvian company or your employer is
  responsible for your traveling expenses.
• Bank

• The Latvian student visa is a visa issued to foreigners who wish to study in an accredited learning institution in Latvia.
• 
  Laotians
  who wish to travel to Latvia for an internship, study, training or a
  course can apply for this visa.
• A
  duly completed and signed Latvian student visa application form is
  required.
• Laotians
  visiting Latvia must have a passport valid for a duration of three
  months beyond their exit date and the passport must have two blank
  pages for visa stamps.
• Two
  recently taken passport photographs not more than a month 35mm X
  45mm in size. 
• A
  medical certificate stating that the student is free from any contagious disease is required.
• A
  police certificate of good conduct stating that the applicant is free from any criminal offenses must be submitted.   
• A
  bank statement not more than three months that show the financial status of the applicant is required. The bank statement should contain the name of the banks, the bank stamp, and the bank address.   
• Applicants
  are expected to have a sum of 5160 Euros to cater for their first year of study in Latvia. 
• Sponsored
  applicants are expected to show proof of sponsorship. 
• Proof
  of admission to a learning institution in Latvia. The admission
  letter must contain your course of study and the duration of your
  course of study and that you are eligible and academically capable
  for studies in Latvia.
• Copy
  of your flight return ticket after the expiry of your student visa.

  of accommodation in Latvia.

  medical insurance amounting to 30,000 euros to cover your entire study year in Latvia. 
• Copies
  of your diploma or certificates of your previous learning
  institution.
• Proof of paid tuition fee.

• Latvia medical visa is a visa issued to foreigners who intend to get proper medical treatment in Latvia. 
• A duly completed and signed medical visa application form is required. 
• A passport with at least six months validity and blank passport pages for visa stamps is required. 
• A local medical report from a Laos hospital stating the need for the patient transfer to Latvia must be submitted. 
• Proof of paid medical fee. 
• A medical attestation from the hospital or doctor in Latvia, confirming the date of your appointment as well as your medical situation.
