The former co-host of Weeknd Sunrise, Andrew O’Keefe, who was Australia’s one of the beloved television presenters, has fallen from grace after getting involved in scandals one after another.
According to the latest news, Andrew has yet again landed himself in trouble after getting arrested for choking a woman.
The former Australian TV presenter and a former lawyer first rose to prominence for being the host of the game shows Deal or No Deal and The Chase Australia. Talking about his career besides television, he worked as an intellectual property lawyer associated with law firm Allens Arthur Robinson.
Now, considered a disgraced television personality, O’Keefe, is a Member of the Order of Australia. The honor, he received back in January 2017.

The latest news around him doesn’t suggest Andrew O’Keefe is doing drugs; however, as per the news, the Australian Tv personality has been arrested over an allegation of choking and punching a woman.
Back in 2021, Andrew checked himself into rehab after his case of domestic violence against his former lover, Orly Lavee, got dismissed on the grounds of mental health.
And, according to the daily mail, the former presenter confirmed ‘all is well’ after ‘experimenting with mental health drugs’ while on the rehab.
Andrew, in an interview, said, “I had some experimentation with the mental health drugs, the regimen, and all is well.”
Therefore, there isn’t any evidence that could prove that O’Keefe uses drugs whatsoever.
Andrew O’Keefe Arrested Over Domestic Violence
According to the Sunday Morning Herald, Andrew O’Keefe has been arrested for an allegation of choking, punching, and kicking a woman.
As per the police, Andrew met with the victim(the woman) at her house on Kent Street in Sydney on Tuesday, when according to the police, “A verbal argument ensued between the pair before the man allegedly assaulted the woman – grabbing her by the throat, pushing her to the ground and punching her.”
After the incident, the authorities comprehended him from his residence in the early hours of Thursday morning. On the same day, he will be appearing on the court.
According to the daily mail, the victim’s age is 38 years old.
Who Is Andrew O’Keefe Partner Orly Lavee?
Orly Lavee was an ex-girlfriend/ partner of Andrew O’Keefe. Orly is a doctor by profession.
Andrew was arrested on the ground of domestic abuse for thrashing Orly back in January 2021. However, the case was dismissed on the grounds of mental health.
As per the news, the former Australian television presenter spitted before slapping and kicking Lavee at her residence in Randwick’s home.
