Raymond Rachal was working behind the hotel’s counter just after 1 a.m. when the guest, 37-year-old Jason Rabe, approached him, prompting a dispute between the two, according to Fort Lauderdale Police.

According to investigators, a visitor named Jason Rabe had been ordered not to return to the residence earlier in the evening.
Rabe is seen stepping behind the counter and charging toward Rachal, who punches him in the face, according to the video. The two men then got into a brawl.
After a few moments, another man attempted to break up the brawl and dialed 911. Rachal is heard pleading for assistance on the 911 call. He stated “I’ve been assaulted by him. Straight at me, he ran. It was necessary for me to protect myself.”
Is Raymond Rachal Still In Jail?
At the moment, Raymond Rachal is set out of jail and has been freed up.
According to the arrest record, Rachal did not comply with police orders to back up. Rachal is seen being brought away in handcuffs shortly after in the footage.
However, roughly a month after the event, the State Attorney’s Office withdrew both of Rachal’s accusations. Crump isn’t sure if he’s representing Rachal.
