Bell, a 1975 New York City native, started considering a career in acting while attending Rose Bruford College in London.
She landed her first professional role in the 2002 film “Speakeasy,” but it wouldn’t be until a year later with a lead role in “War Tales” and a supporting role in NBC’s “Miss Match” that she would start to receive attention.
From then, Bell joined the cast of “Boston Legal” regularly. She would go on to obtain credits in various shows and movies, including “Childrens Hospital”, “It’s Complicated”, “No Strings Attached”, and “How to Make it in America”.
She created and directed her first short film, “Worst Enemy,” in 2010, and made her directorial debut with “In A World…,” a feature picture, at Sundance in 2013.
