Lachlan McLaren was a year 10 student at Mentone Grammar School. He was a joyous teen who was close to his classmates and fraternity members.
McLaren was also good at academics and had his whole life ahead of him. Unfortunately, he became the loss-bearer of other people’s carelessness.
Lachlan lost his life on his 16th birthday. He was walking his girlfriend home and taking care of her safety at the time of the incident. His partner is not harmed at all.

As per 7 News, Lachlan McLaren died in a car accident on 16 August 2021.
Lachlan was a student at Mentone Grammar School. He was admired by his teachers and classmates since he performed well in academics and ECAs.
On 16 August, Lachlan celebrated his 16th birthday. After that, he went to meet his girlfriend and spend some quality time. He was walking her home when the speedy car hit him.
McLaren lost his life on the spot, but he ended up saving his partner. His girlfriend does not have a severe scratch or bruise.
The police came immediately to the scene and arrested the 31-year-old driver. He is being held at the station for erratic driving and is checked for drugs or alcohol abuse.

The higher authorities have requested the witnesses to come forward. Hopefully, the alleged rash driver will be brought to justice and punished for his acts.
