With that in mind, the junior Wilson started managing his schedules and training sessions by utilizing the best time frames. They often spent time visiting places, eating good food, and going to the gym together.
Being the person who loves and understand him well, Taylor’s presence helped boost his morale and performance throughout the season. Since joining as his manager in January 2018, Taylor has been by his side for more than five years.

Kyren Wilson Family
Kyren and Taylor were born to parents Rob and Sonya Wilson in Kettering. Kyren had a modest childhood since he was raised in a single salary household.
His father Rob was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when he was young and had been battling the disease ever since. Rob is a testament to a hero as he grew up watching him fight the disease with a strong front. His struggles to achieve a regular life while suffering from the illness were challenging to manage.
Meanwhile, his mother, Sonya, managed the house and helped him in every step of his life. She drove him for hours to reach the arena since Wilson had already started competing in junior and amateur tournaments after playing with Peter Ebdon from an early age.
Sonya used to drive him to competitions on the same day, even when the venue was outside the city, since they could not afford to pay for hotels and lodgings. Looking after two children, they had to control their expenses and manage the budget accordingly to provide the kids with a better future.
Being raised in such situations, he understood the value of hard work early in life and always gave his best to achieve the best results. He aimed to reach greater heights and become successful enough to look after his loved ones without worries.
