Kylie Rae Harris 20 Years From Now|Kylie Rae Harris 20 Years From Now Lyrics|Kylie Rae Harris Twenty Years From Now

[Verse 1] Pack the suitcase, bring a pillow
It’s gonna be a long hard drive
A thousand miles from Amarillo
I’ll let the highway tuck you in tight

[Verse 2] I watch you sleepin’ in the backseat
I wonder if you’ll know how hard I’ve tried
You deserve nothing less than happiness
But so do I

[Chorus] Twenty years from now
My prayer is that somehow
You’ll forgive all my mistakes
And be proud of the choice I make
God, I hope I’m still around
Twenty years from now

[Verse 3] I hope you know your daddy loves you
And it broke his heart to watch you leave
But he can’t wrestle with his demons
And still have time for you and me

[Chorus] So twenty years from now
My prayer is that somehow
You’ll forgive all my mistakes
And be proud of the choice I make
God, I hope I’m still around
Twenty years from now

[Chorus 2] Twenty years from now
My prayer is that somehow
You’ll forgive all my mistakes
And be proud of the choice I made
I just wanna see that day
You tell me that I did okay
God, I hope I’m still around
Twenty years from now

Kylie Rae Harris What The Heart Wants

Kylie Rae Harris Waited|Kylie Rae Harris Waited for Lyrics

What am I doin?
Why did I come?
Did I dress up enough
Just to sit here alone?
Why am I here?
I think I should quit
Cause I know trouble when I see it

Waited all day
Waited all night
Waited till the doors were all locked up tight
Waited like I’m waiting
For a storm in July
Whatcha want me to do?
Wait for the rest of my life?

No

Well I took out a walkin
In the middle of a storm
With my head full of notion
And a heart well worn
Now I feel like a trooper
And a little like a saint
Two things I know that I really ain’t
Waited all day
Waited all night
Waited till the doors were all locked up tight
Waited like I’m waiting
For a storm in July
Whatcha want me to do?
Wait for the rest of my life?
No
Well it’s got me all sideways
Jumpin the track
That this is my life
I’m takin it back
I tried
And I tried
And I tried and it failed
This final straw here
Is the last nail
Waited all day
Waited all night
Waited till the doors were all locked up tight
Waited like I’m waiting
For a storm in July
Whatcha want me to do?
Wait for the rest of my life?
Whatcha want me to do?
Wait for the rest of my life?

Kylie Rae Harris, the country singer, dies in a car accident

Kylie Harris, a rising country singer from Texas, died in a car accident on Wednesday in New Mexico, Alex Torrez, the CEO of her management company, Torrez Music Group, tells CNN. She was 30.

“We are heartbroken to confirm that Harris passed away in a car accident last night,” a statement provided to CNN from Torrez read. “We have no further details to share, and ask for privacy for her family at this time.”

Harris, who released a self-titled EP in March, had been in New Mexico to perform at Michael Hearne’s Big Barn Dance Music Festival, according to the concert listings on her official website. Her next performance was supposed to take place on Saturday in Turkey, Texas.

“Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music,” the statement added. “The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you.”

Harris’ friends and peers in the Texas country music scene and beyond honored her on Thursday upon news of her passing.

“@kylierh we all loved you so much. Can’t process it right now. It will always be an honor to have shared stages with you, and stories, and good times. Sad day for us,” wrote singer Josh Ward. “Sending thoughts and prayers out to all who grieve with us on such a devastating loss.”

“I fell in love with your soul and you became a life long friend from the moment I met you,” singer Lauren Jenkins added. “This doesn’t feel real. I’m completely heartbroken.”

Harris had a daughter, Corbie, for whom she wrote a song featured on her EP called “Twenty Years from Now.”

Kylie Rae Harris remembered by friends and family at Texas memorial service

One week after Kylie Rae Harris died in a horrific car accident, the country singer’s friends and loved ones gathered to honor her memory at a memorial service in her hometown of Plano, Texas.

Mourners gathered at Prestonwood Baptist Church on Wednesday to memorialize the 30-year-old, who was killed in a three-car accident in Taos, New Mexico on September 4, that law enforcement officials say she may have caused.

“There was an outpouring of support from Texas musicians who attended in person and sent their condolences,” family friend Deborah Mash told E! News.

She added that Harris’ stepfather, Brent Cowan, delivered the eulogy for the singer.

In addition, Harris’ daughter, Corbie, sang one of her mother’s songs alongside singer Bonnie Bishop. People reports the track, titled “Twenty Years from Now” was reportedly written for Corbie by her mother and references all the things she hoped to see her daughter grow into.

Harris was involved in the crash while driving to a performance at the Big Barn Dance Music Festival.

“We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night,” her rep told Fox News at the time. “Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music. The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you.”

Law enforcement said Harris was traveling south on State Road 522 in a black 2017 Chevrolet Equinox when the SUV made contact with the back of a Chevrolet Avalanche pickup truck. Authorities said the maneuver caused Harris to veer left into oncoming northbound traffic where her vehicle collided head-on with a white 2008 Jeep Liberty driven by 16-year-old Maria Elena Cruz.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Avalanche was uninjured. Police said Pedro Cruz, a Taos County firefighter/EMT, responded to the scene and found his daughter dead upon arrival.

“At this time I will say with most certainty that [the 16-year-old] was an innocent victim of this senseless crash caused by Ms. Harris,” Taos County Sheriff Jerry Hogrefe said in a statement first reported by TaosNews.com and The Tennessean.

The Sheriff’s Office reportedly suspects speed and intoxication were factors in the crash as well, but authorities are waiting to see the toxicology report from the Office of the Medical Investigator to make an official determination on the matter.

Court records indicate that Harris had a history of drinking and driving. In June 2017, she was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after records indicated she had a blood alcohol content level over 0.15, nearly twice the legal limit. Harris was convicted in October 2017 and was ordered to have an ignition interlock device installed in her car.

The singer was also cited for speeding in 2014 when she was clocked going 81 in a 60 MPH zone.

Harris was active on social media shortly before the crash, posting an eerie video reminiscing about the roads she was driving on. In it, she fights back tears as she discusses the many family members that died in Taos when she was younger.
