- This visa is issued to people who want to go to Kuwait for the purpose of tourism, leisure and family visitation.
- All travelers will need a valid passport with at least 2 blank visa pages for the visa to be issued. In cases where the applicant has applied for a new passport or passport renewal, old passports have to be attached to the new one.

Requirements
- This visa is issued to applicants who intend to work in Kuwait.
- To work in the country, applicants are expected to obtain a residence visa and a work permit.
- The residence permit used by Kuwait is a civil ID. It must be valid for the process to continue.
- Passengers with a resident visa or a work permit traveling to Kuwait for the first time are required to hold an original criminal clearance certificate authenticated by Kuwait Embassy in the representing country.
- Laborers or workers need an endorsement by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour which would in turn be stamped by the embassy where the visa application was placed.
- Applicants are to note that Residence Permits issued by Kuwait become invalid if the passenger stays out of Kuwait for more than 6 months. A visa would be required to re-enter Kuwait.
