Losing The Baby Weight The Second Time Around
Crowley has a new fitness motto, “You have to move some weights to move the weight“. Having a second child, and being in your thirties, changes the ballgame when it comes to weight loss. Now I exercise to not only look and feel good but to maintain healthy bones and joints so I can CONTINUE this lifestyle. I was always a go hard or go home type person in the gym.
I’m re-learning the simple truth that it is quality of movement and not trying to “beast” everything you do while working out that actually changes your shape AND keeps your joints working! I think getting 3-5 QUALITY workouts in is much more productive than doing a week of hard-core exercises, hurting yourself, and then having to take two weeks off. Consistency is the key and slow controlled movements are sometimes harder to do! For more, visit her blogs.
