He allegedly hit Nessa with a 2-foot-long weapon while on her way to meet her friend. Nessa’s assailant is thought to have been a stranger to her.
He was apprehended and charged with her murder in the coastal town.
According to the chief justice, a new hearing has been scheduled for February 25th of next year. From June 7th of next year, he has set a trial period of up to five weeks.
