Description
Kingdom SACCO Society Limited was established in 1999 by Life Reformation Centre with the aim of improving the economic and social livelihood of its members. The SACCO was registered with the Ministry of Cooperatives on 21st January 2000 under the Cooperative Societies Act of 1997. It is currently governed by the SACCO Societies Act of 2008 and its by-laws.
The SACCO’s membership is drawn from churches in Kenya affiliated to a global Network of Churches called Congress WBN (C-WBN) which continue being the context within which Kingdom Sacco is developed. C-WBN is a Global Network of Churches and other related Kingdom initiatives focused on effecting human, social and national transformation through the propagation of value-based development principles, patterns and approaches.
Kingdom Sacco was opened to the other churches and the general members of the public that are willing to be governed by biblical principles and values.The society vision s to be a role model sacco empowering the community economically and socially.Their mission is to promote a savings and investment culture while providing affordable credit for the enhancement of the economic and social welfare of our members and other stakeholders.
Since ts inception in January 2000, it has continued to empowering communities by promoting a savings and investment culture while providing affordable credit. The Society progressively registers a positive financial growth while its membership drawn from different parts of the country has increased tremendously. Kingdom Sacco products and services are developed to enhance the economic welfare of the members largely made up of small and medium income earners in the informal sector and other stakeholders.
