The two met at first while in High school. At first, they had a brief meeting, “Trying to know each other”. According to Ice Cube, Woodruff was not interested at all.
The two met six months later, and this time round Kimberly was a little responsive. Kimberly and O’Shea attended a couple of dates and eventually dated officially in 1988.
In 1991, Ice Cube announced his engagement to Kimberly. One year later, the two had their ties on April 26, 1992. Their marriage has lasted 27 years as of 2019. He proposed to her again after they hit 20 years of marriage in further confirmation of their love and affection for each other. According to Ice Cube, this is what Kimberly is to her:

Kim is my backbone, she is my confidence, she is like everything. My partner in this. I wouldn’t be here without her without a doubt cause she keeps me grounded to the point where I know who I am all the time.

The couple has become a mother and father of four.   Their children are O’Shea Jr.(b. 1991), Darell(b. 1992), Kareema(b. 1994), and Shareef(b. 1995).
Her second son, Darell Jackson is a rapper. Darell features in OMG and Dough Boy on Ice Cube’s album in 2010. During the rap game, Darell goes by the name Dough Boy.
Kareema is a research assistant at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Additionally, he holds a Masters’s degree.
On the other hand, Shareef is undergoing a Technolgy oriented course in college. O’Shea seems to have taken after her mother. He is just off the cameras. Lastly, their last child and daughter, Deja Jackson, was born on an unknown date.
