Lutz Petras is the father of Kim Petras. He is a German architect and works with a Real Estate firm called Landmarke in the planning department.
Konni Petras
Kim’s mother Kornelia Konni Petras is a dance choreographer and an artist too. She is also a German citizen like her husband Lutz.
Lutz and Konni were very responsible parents who first noticed the sexuality of Kim, who was a biological male. Their motivation, facilitation and encouragement played a crucial role in Kim realizing her gender identity and accepting it.
Kim’s parents had trans friends and understood the concept well and how it must be dealt with. She had shown signs of feminine behavior as early as when she was 2 years old. Her parents forced no stereotypical gender identity on her and she was, therefore, able to take hormone replacement therapy at the age of 12.
Kim had her Gender Reassignment Surgery (GRS) done in 2008, making her the youngest in the world to undergo such a procedure.

In an interview, regarding her music career, she has also said that nobody discovered her, she discovered herself and desperately followed her passion. She names Madonna, Britney Spears, and The Spice Girls as her major influences growing up in Germany.
Before Unholy became her first #1 single on the UK Singles Chart and charted on the Billboard Hot 100, it was I Don’t Want It All that gave her a breakthrough. Before that, she had worked as an indie artist doing her solo projects. Now, her list of collaborations is only growing – Sam Smith, DJ Klass, Stephen Dresser, Charlie XCX, Kygo, Jay Park among many others.
She has also written songs for Fergie and Rihanna.
Kim Petras Boyfriend And Dating Life
There is no such news if Kim Petras has a romantic relationship with a boyfriend or is dating someone.
It was rumored in 2018 that Kim was dating movie producer Tobias Jesso Jr, but it couldn’t be confirmed.
