Khulubuse Zuma Wedding – Khulubuse Zuma Wife

Khulubuse married one of his four fiancées, Swazi princess Fikisiwe Dlamini. The president was among 5 000 guests at the wedding party held at his multimillion-rand home in Nkandla. Dlamini is the sister of the president’s fiancée, Sebentile Dlamini.

Regarding the celebration, seven marquees were erected, and guests feasted on 16 cattle, which were slaughtered for the ceremony. The celebration was due to be concluded when the bride’s family will present gifts to the groom’s family. Dlamini arrived with her bridal entourage in Nkandla on Friday night, and on Saturday was clad in her traditional Swazi attire. Khulubuse was dressed in cowhide and sprinkled a drop of goat’s bile over his bride’s head, which symbolizes her welcome to the Zuma family.

In return, Dlamini handed a spear to Khulubuse, a sign that she accepted him as her husband. The couple met about 10 years ago when Dlamini visited her sister, who was living with the president in Nkandla at the time. Khulubuse, 44, proposed in 2005 and paid lobolo of 100 head of cattle in October last year. Dlamini, 33, is the daughter of King Mswati’s brother, Prince Phiwokwakhe Dlamini, who died in 2005.

Khulubuse Zuma Cars – Clive Khulubuse Zuma Lamborghini

South African media, including The Citizen, shared the video alleging it to be Zuma’s cousin, but the newspaper corrected its article and said it had verified that the man in the video is not Khlulubuse.

Prior to this, it was reported that Khulubuse had fallen on hard times after the collapse of Pamodzi mines in Orkney and Springs, which his company, Aurora Empowerment System, had taken over in 2009. In conflicting reports, it was alleged that he was either too broke to pay the settlement deals and even defend himself in court… or that he had moved to the United Arab Emirates and was unconcerned.

However, The Citizen said Khulubuse was “understood to be out of the country”, and therefore not the man in the car video. Therefore, as many people have pointed out, the video appears to have been filmed in the USA anyway!

Nevertheless, he owns A 2010-model Range Rover worth R200 000.

Khulubuse Zuma House

A house in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, for which Zuma said he still owed R1.5m to FNB.

Zuma could not afford the five houses he had built at his homestead since 2009 – three of which cost R19.5‑million – an amaBhungane investigation has concluded.

This raises the question of who coughed up the money.

It also suggests that the real Nkandla scandal is yet to emerge, given that Zuma has a history of plugging the gap between his income and expenditure with donations and soft loans from friends, family and benefactors (See “A history of hand-outs” below).

This comes at a time when opposition parties are pressing the new Parliament to respond to public protector Thuli Madonsela’s damning Nkandla report – and at a time when the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is closing in on contractors who may have benefited improperly.

Although the cattle kraal, chicken coop, fire pool and retaining walls were the target of Madonsela’s opprobrium, the five new structures that Zuma claims he had built for himself have so far largely escaped scrutiny.

Although they were a private project, they became entwined in the controversial R246-million state-funded security upgrades because Zuma’s private contractors were also employed by the state.

The protector was unable to make a finding of the houses, partly because the president appeared to flout the law by ignoring her questions. Zuma has always denied the state paid for them, but a close analysis indicates he must have received a helping hand.

Information unearthed by amaBhungane discloses that Zuma’s builder, Moneymine Enterprises, quoted a price of R19.5-million for the first three of the five houses that were built. The figure was extracted by combing through the 12 000 pages of public works documents obtained through access-to-information litigation last year.
