AceShowbiz – Is there a gay Khalid? The 21-year-old singer/songwriter has ignited rumors regarding his sexuality after he was seen getting “a little too close” at the 2020 Grammy Awards with Lil Nas X, which took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26.
At the 62nd annual ceremony, the R&B singer and the 20-year-old artist seemed ‘extra cozy’ with each other behind the scenes, according to MTO Reports. “They were talking, and they were a little too close. Men don’t get that close to each other when they talk to each other, unless …,” says a so-called insider, keeping the speculation regarding the sexuality of Khalid free.
While there is some buzz around the industry that Khalid might be bisexual, the source states that she is not aware if the “Young Dumb & Broke” singer is homosexual or bisexual either. “I’m not saying Khalid is gay, he has to live his truth. But the way they were talking … it looked like something’s going on there,” the source says.
While Khalid has been famously private regarding his personal life and has never talked about his sexuality, on June 30, 2019, the last day of Pride Month, Lil Nas X came out openly as homosexual. “some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends I want y’all to listen closely to c7osure,” he posted, voicing the speculation he had previously indicated in his track “c7osure”

The “Panini” rapper said in a new interview with Variety that he has become closer to his father since he was officially released last year. “It could have gone either way,” he said of the response to his Twitter announcement. “We have become closer,” he said. “I mean, especially now because I don’t have anything to hide. It was a shock for him. It’s still the beginning phase. I’m not comfortable bringing a guy around yet.”
