Simon Nixon Net Worth: Simon Nixon is a British entrepreneur who has a net worth of $700 million. Simon Nixon acquired that wealth as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Moneysupermarket Group, a lending and mortgaging company that ranges from payday loans to assistance with home buying. He was born in Stamford, Nottinghamshire, England. Today one of the UK’s richest entrepreneurs, Simon Nixon dropped out from Nottingham University to launch the Internet giant, Moneysupermarket.com, together with Duncan Cameron in 1999. The business has since efficiently provided users with information about credit cards and personal loans. In 2007, Moneysupermarket.com got listed on the Stock Exchange for $850 million. Next, Simon set up travelsupermarket.com, which compares the best travel deals in UK, but he let his former lecturer and brother Chris to head the travels-comparing site. Nowadays, Simon seems to be an industry heavyweight who is very likely to grow even more. Simon also saw the rise of another site, Simonseeks, which is a travel guide and travel booking website. The success of this launch has been certified as it was named a Website of the Year by The Good Web Guide. Most recently, Simon Nixon has started his first non-internet based venture named SimonEscapes, a portfolio of holiday homes that he has bought and developed personally.
