The Korean American professional golfer Kevin Sangwook Na played on the PGA Tour up to June 2022, when he switched to the LIV Golf Invitational Series. One of Na’s five PGA Tour triumphs was the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, which he won in October 2019 for his fourth PGA Tour triumph.
On the second sudden-death playoff hole at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, the competition was over. He has 1 for 4 records in PGA Tour sudden-death playoff rounds. Na achieved his fifth PGA Tour victory in January 2021 by winning the Sony Open in Hawaii.
After falling down by three strokes with six holes left in the competition, he was able to mount a comeback and take home the trophy by one shot.
The later same year, in August, he and five other players shared the lead after 72 holes at the Wyndham Championship, but he finally lost to Kevin Kisner in a playoff.
In September 2021, Na finished third at the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, earning $4,000,000 in the season-long FedEx Cup.
Na declared his intention to compete in the LIV Golf Invitational Series by announcing his resignation from the PGA Tour in June 2022. This decision would have a significant impact on his career because he now plays in a league supported by Saudi Arabia.
