Her role in Matilda – the Royal Shakespeare Company Musical came to Stratford-upon-Avon in November 2010, the role lasted until January 2011. Kerry Ingram was the only original Matilda who transferred to the West End cast where she was to share the part with three other female actors at the Cambridge Theatre. After leaving the show in April 2012, she won an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Shortly after Matilda, she was on the set of Tom Hooper’s film adaptation of Les Miserables where she was cast in a minor role.

Kerry Ingram’s mother has been identified as SallyIngram who is of Maltese descent. Her father is Dereck Ingram, she currently resides with her mother and siblings in Warfield.
