Kenyan celebrities involved in heavy fighting

Each celebrity has their own way of drawing attention through various means, including fights, tongue-lashing, and the like. Some Kenyan celebrities are particularly fond of fighting not only for attention, but probably because it’s part of their many hobbies. A handful of them have argued several times, and mostly over trifles. So why do they always have to fight? Well sometimes fans enjoy watching videos or reading about fight stories and that can be part of the reason they keep doing what they do best. Read on to see some of Kenya’s most regular celebrity fighters.

1. Vannessa Chettle

A year ago when the Naxvegas party was held, socialite Vanessa Chettle , Ann Mbaru and DJ Exclusive engaged in a fight that hit Vanessa’s head with a bottle. The party reportedly ended abruptly when Vanessa Chettle, her friend, Mdundo.com’s director of sales and advertising; Sandra Akinyi Bartonjo and some random fat guys started throwing bottles everywhere. A bottle landed on Vanessa’s head and she was immediately taken to the hospital as she was bleeding profusely. Vannessa Chettle went off the entertainment radar for some time shortly after the fight on the Nairobi Diaries. While her fans wondered what was wrong with her, she revealed on her Instagram page that she was in prison for a crime she didn’t commit.

2. Shapa Man

Shappa Man is always there. He is without a doubt one of Kenya’s biggest celebrity fighters. He was captured in a club fight with Ian Mugoya and Nick Mutuma at a Jameson Live event in 2013 after Eddie Tash, former Capital FM marketing director, was accused of stealing a phone. On another occasion, Shappa Man and his Camp Mulla members were fighting with a William Oyando and a friend when he approached them to ask if they were the ones smoking weed whose smoke can be smelled meters away. The rapper threw punches rather than answering the question, but not without head injuries that required medical attention.

Shappa Man was still making a first comeback at Carnivore Simba Saloon restaurant, where he reportedly assaulted a partygoer before police arrested him.

3.Yvonne Darcq & Kush Tracey

This is the latest celebrity fight. The two celebrities reportedly fought over Mluhya wa Busia, known as Kristoff, at the famous K1 Club. It was said that Darcq threw a bottle at Kush Tracey for daring to talk to Kristoff.

Kush Tracey later confirmed the story in an interview with Kiss100 radio host Adelle Onyango, where she met Kristoff and Yvonne Darcq at K1. Kristoff was so overprotective and didn’t want her to dance with a guy at the club, which doesn’t sit well with Darq.

After deciding to leave the club, Yvonne Darcq followed her outside and threw a bottle at her bouncers to intervene. Tracey said she never wanted anything to do with Darcq.

4.Jerry Jo

Jerry Jo is another fighter on our list of Kenyan celebrity fighters. The dancehall artist has been seen a number of times in a wild brawl along Nairobi’s Luthuli Avenue.

5.Chipukeezy & Prezzo

The fight between these two is 4 months ago during a party at Skylux. Chipukeezy and his girl went to their reserved table in the VIP. He accidentally bumped into one of Prezzo’s boys and that’s when the drama began. Prezzo tried to touch Chipukeezy’s girlfriend’s butt to tease him, and Chipukeezy reportedly hit one of Prezzo’s friends with a whiskey bottle. The bouncers came and calmed things down while both parties were apart. Everyone moved to different corners of the ballroom.

6. Dennis Oliech & Ian Mugoya

Dennis Oliech went out for a night out with a hot lady during the 50th edition of Blankets and Wine. He and his date met former Str8up TV series host Ian Mugoya and his boys. Oliech’s Miss, according to Ian, approached and flirted with him without him knowing she was already taken. Upon realizing what was happening, Harrambee Stars forward Dennis Oliech allegedly walked up to Ian and pulled a gun on the boy, saying “Mali ya Watu steal”.

Attaining fame can be psychic and the giving recipient begins a sense of importance and then a frenzy of pride and arrogance. But as they say, a full ship doesn’t make much noise. Therefore, successful celebrities always avoid scandals that may damage their career or reputation.
