The Nigerian born television actor, Eric Nwenweh is well known for his role as Ugo in the movie ‘The Illiterate’ alongside Tonto Dikeh and Yul Edochie.
Ken Erics Early Life
He was born in Kano State, Northwest and he is the sixth of seven children of Eric Chukwuemeka Nwenweh and Grace Ifeyinwa Nwenweh both of Enugwu-Ukwu in Anambra State, Southeast Nigeria. He is of Igbo descent.

Erics attended Binta Mustapha Science Nursery and Primary School, Kano, and later went to Dennis Memorial Grammar secondary School (DMGS) which is located in Onitsha, Anambra State.
As a young child, Erics showed a passion for the arts, and this led to his admission to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, where he graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts. He also holds a master’s degree in Theatre and Film studies.

In 2001, as a first-year student at the University, Erics got his first movie role, in the Chris Ubani directed ‘direct-to-DVD’ movie ‘Holy Prostitute’, where he played a minor role as a medical doctor, with just three scenes. He went on to graduate from the University and began to attend auditions and bagged a few other cameo roles in-home movies.
His 2012 portrayal of “Ugo” in the movie “The Illiterate” endeared him to audiences and opened up more opportunities for him in the Nigerian movie industry. As a writer, Erics first published work “Cell 2” has gained attention and has been used in a number of Nigerian tertiary institutions for stage productions and academic purposes.
He is also an occasional singer|musician who plays the guitar and keyboard. Erics had an earlier run in his own musical band and has been involved in the production of a number of original movie soundtracks.

The wife of actor Ken Erics, Onyi Adaba, has revealed that Ken Erics has abandoned their 2-year-old marriage. Interestingly, Onyi Adaba revealed the shocking news while reacting to reports about Blossom Chukwujekwu’s marriage. She made this revelation on Instagram and this is what she posted;
Onyi Adaba has disclosed that the marriage ended because Ken Erics who happens to be her husband is gay and as a result left their matrimonial home refuting claims that she already had a love child before the marriage. According to the full details of what happened, the wedding ended on the night it was contracted.
A source claimed that “Ken woke up Onyin and told her he didn’t want to be married and that he was a man alone and didn’t need a woman. She cried and cried and begged but he refused and left her behind in the Village when he was leaving…She stayed back for a while and eventually had to return to her Fathers house where there was nothing left for her as she had sold up the business she thought she was moving to another location with Ken. Ken and Onyin dated for only one month before they married, she has never seen him naked before. The day she took his Mother’s advice and tried to seduce him to sleep with her, she got the beating of her life and she never tried it again”.
