Kayla Wallace is a Canadian actress, singer, and dancer best known for her appearances in The Good Doctor, Once Upon A Prince, and Christmas Solo. She got interested in becoming an actor at a very young age. Subsequently, she started acting at age 6. With time, she started garnering recognition.

Since she was very young, she had the interest to become an actor. This interest piqued after attending a high school acting program workshop led by Erica Carroll and Ali Liebert. After graduating from high school, she furthered her studies at the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, British Columbia. There, she learned acting dancing and singing. Upon completing her studies, she received a Certificate in Performing Arts. After, she moved to Vancouver to focus on her acting. In Vancouver, she trained in several acting studios.

Her first professional on-screen role was as a dancer in 2014 for the Disney film, “Descendants” in the “Be Our Guest” Scene. Her next role was in “When Calls the Heart” from 2014. However, in this drama series, she only had a minor uncredited role. In 2016, she appeared in “Ice” on an episode titled ‘Hyenas’. In that same year, she got another minor role in the TV film “Death of a Vegas Showgirl”.
2017 was her best year yet. She managed to got roles in such notable productions as the TV movie, “A Christmas Solo”, as one of the lead characters, and “The Good Doctor”, also as a notable character. The year after, she was among the lead characters in the TV movie “Counterfeiting in Suburbia”. The movie focuses on 2 teenagers who convince themselves they’re not doing anyone any harm by counterfeiting money. This doesn’t, however, go well when their debt-ridden art teacher finds out they are using his classroom to make the counterfeit bills.

Still, in 2018, she got one of the lead roles in the TV movie, “Killer Ending”. This film features an author whose best-selling novel becomes her worst nightmare when her daughter is abducted in a copycat scenario tangled with an obsessive assistant intent on stealing her identity. That same year, she had a role in “Once Upon a Prince” as one of the stars of the film. The film is a classic fairy tale story where the prince falls in love with a commoner and the queen does not approve of the relationship.
Most recently, she appeared in some episodes of “When Calls the Heart”. These episodes were titled, ‘Two of Hearts’, ‘The Queen of Hearts’, Phone Rings and Heartstrings’, as well as ‘Hope is with the Heart” among others. Besides that, she has also appeared in the TV films, Breckman Rodeo, Undercover Cheerleader, and Terrified at 17.
