Kathleen Moore, a Florida resident who had gone missing, has been discovered dead. Her body was positively identified mere hours after it was discovered on Tuesday evening.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, her body was discovered around 50 yards northeast of her 30-year-old lover Colin Knapp’s residence. He was arrested on Monday, and he is the culprit. Further, canine units, a drone team, and a team of ’20 to 30′ investigators from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office combed numerous regions of Pasco County in search of Moore’s body.

According to the sheriff’s department, the cause and timing of Moore’s death remain unknown at this time. She was a 34-year-old nursing school student. She worked as a waiter in a restaurant in Largo, Florida. Being a mother of a single child, she was employed at Whiskey Wings bar in St. Petersburg in Florida. 

She was last seen near her boyfriend’s house in Pasco County at 1 a.m. on November 29. At that time Moore was dressed in black trousers, a long black blouse, and black shoes.

It was also revealed that the two had a furious argument. Moore’s missing person report was submitted on November 30 and, the case was later accepted by PSo late that day.

Now, the authorities have declared her dead and, her boyfriend has been detained in connection with her disappearance.

Based on the inquiry, officials investigated the contents of trash at the restaurant where Knapp worked and located Moore’s blood on Knapp’s clothing.

Kathleen Moore Boyfriend Colin Knapp Arrested

Colin Knapp, Kathleen Moore’s boyfriend, was arrested on Monday and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the 34-year-old Moore’s disappearance.

According to Pasco County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Michael Rosa, Knapp, who is being detained at the Pasco County Detention Center, has requested an attorney and will be arraigned Tuesday afternoon.

In addition, Colin also has a criminal history of domestic violence against women, as per the police. He was also charged with nine felonies and ten misdemeanors.
