Kate Voegele (Kate Elizabeth Voegele) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She started her music career in 2003, releasing ‘The Other Side’. She promoted the album by performing many local live shows. She toured with artists such as John Mayer.

She signed with Interscope Records in 2006 and immediately began working on her official debut album. The album became her first to chart on the Billboard 200 and was re-released numerous times since its release.

In 2009, she released her second album titled ‘A Fine Mess’ which debuted at number 10 on the billboard 200. Her most famous single, ’99 Times’, was the most successful radio single in the US to date. She released ‘Gravity Happens’ in 2011, which was her first album to be released through ATO Records and debuted at position 53 on the Billboard 200.

She signed with MySpace Records in 2006 through Tom Anderson. Shortly after signing with MySpace, she began working on her debut album. In May 2007, she released ‘Don’t Look Away’, her official debut album.

After releasing the album, Voegele became more and more popular and her ales boosted rapidly. Voegele was further known because of her appearance on ‘One Tree Hill’, the TV series created by Mark Schwahn which premiered on September 23, 2003.

In 2008, it was revealed that she would return for the sixth season of ‘One Tree Hill’. She released her second album, ‘A Fine Mess’ on May 2008. The album debuted at position 10 on the Billboard 200. It made high sales globally and this contributed to her growth in fame.

In 2009, Voegele returned for the seventh season of ‘One Tree Hill’, the third to feature Voegele’s character. She later returned for the eighth as well and recorded a version of the show’s theme song. She released a new single on her thirty-first birthday in 2017, titled ‘Shoot This Arrow’, which addresses sexual harassment.

Kate is working on lots of new things. Having always been a keen painter as well as musician and actress, she is living in Paris discovering different ways she can use her creativity to make herself even more of a multi-faceted artist.

Kate Voegele Don’t Look Away

Don’t Look Away is the first full-length album from Kate Voegele. The album was released through MySpace Records and Interscope Records on May 22, 2007, and re-released on January 22, 2008. It has sold approximately 250,000 copies worldwide to date.

Voegele promoted the album mainly through live performances. She performed songs from the album on her Lift Me Up Tour, and on Jordin Sparks’s Battlefield Tour, in which she appeared as the opening act. Songs from the album were also performed on the hit television series One Tree Hill, by her character Mia Catalano, who is also an aspiring singer.
