They visited pediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nutritionists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and even behavioral psychologists. Although the road was difficult, she realized all she ever wanted was to see her child turn into an independent young adult.

Now, her dreams were realized, and she explained that the goal of parenting or raising a child was to see them grow into an independent young adult who no longer need them. He was advocating for himself now.

The journalist added that there was no sobbing, and she did not get emotional. She was worried about him, but when she saw him do things on his own, she felt proud and accomplished.

She expressed that she felt overwhelming excitement, love, and relief when she bid him goodbye after dropping him off the campus.
