Kathrin Romany Beckinsale is a well-known English actress and model who was born on July 26, 1973. While still a student at the University of Oxford, she began her acting career with minor television appearances before making her film debut in “Much Ado About Nothing” in 1993.
In British period dramas like “Prince of Jutland” (1994), “Cold Comfort Farm” (1995), “Emma” (1996), “Shooting Fish” (1997), a modern romantic crime comedy, and “The Golden Bowl” (2000), Beckinsale became well-known for her roles. Throughout her career, she has also demonstrated her talent in a number of theatrical and radio shows.
Beckinsale has done some modeling work on occasion in addition to her acting career. Along with Orlando Bloom, she made an appearance in a Gap television commercial that was directed by Cameron Crowe in 2002 and in the music video for George Michael’s “Waltz Away Dreaming” in 1997.
In addition, Beckinsale participated in print advertising for Absolut Vodka in 2009 and a television commercial for Diet Coke in 2004 both directed by Michel Gondry. Beckinsale will star in Catherine Hardwicke’s family drama “Prisoner’s Daughter,” which was confirmed in 2021.
