Born on February 25, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois as Ryan Gary Raddon, Kaskade is one of the most prominent DJs of the 2010s. However, the DJ had started his career decades before in 1995.
Though born in Chicago, he grew up in nearby Northbrook. He would eventually move to Provo, Utah to attend Brigham Young University and work on his DJ skills in his dorm room.
He started DJing in 1995 by playing the monthly Monday night party at Club Manhattan, a basement venue. Kaskade used the income from these events to purchase studio materials to increase his setup.
The DJ would eventually move to San Francisco and start working at Om Records as an A&R assistant to John Elkins. This and joining the burgeoning deep house movement helped him get started as a professional.
Aside from music, Kaskade is also a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In fact, he even served a two-year-full-time mission for the Church in Japan when he was only 19. He is still a believer and regularly attends church alongside his family.

Kaskade wife Naomi Raddon currently works at Kaskade Music as a business manager. Before marrying the DJ, Naomi was known as a snowboarder.
She is best known for her love for her musical artist husband. Her father, Rafael Miranda, also enjoys skiing and can be seen doing so many times on his Facebook page.
As for Naomi, she also enjoys winter athletics and used to be an avid snowboarder. However, she never attempted to do so professionally and still continues the activity as an amateur.

Kaskade married Naomi Raddon in 1992 when he was only 21 years old. Kaskade and Naomi met when both attended the Univesity of Utah.
The DJ had just come back to America after spending over two years in Japan as part of a mission for his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He has had a strong relationship with his wife from the beginning of their career.
In fact, she accompanied him when he moved from Utah to San Francisco in May 2000 which would be the beginning of his eventual career in music. She would also famously be the person to warn Kaskade about his name when he started going by it rather than his birth name of Ryan Gary Raddon because she worried people would mistake him for the dish detergent.
On Kaskade’s end, he has also loved and cherished his wife throughout their relationship despite having to leave his family because of his many tours and hectic lifestyle. His wife and his children have tried to travel with him throughout his career and have been at many important shows.
