Kasim Sulton (born December 8, 1955) is a bass guitarist, pianist, and singer from the United States. Sulton is most known for his work with the band Utopia, for whom he sang lead on the 1980 single “Set Me Free,” which became Utopia’s sole top 40 success in the United States. Sulton’s first single, “Don’t Break My Heart,” reached the top 40 in Canada in 1982. Since then, Sulton has worked as a regular collaborator, bassist, and vocalist on many of Todd Rundgren’s projects and solo tours, including his own.
