Kari Klinkenborg Biography
Kari Klinkenborg is an American actress best known for her work in the 2015 Spongebob movie, “SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water”. She is also noted for her works in such films as Hot Girls in 2015 and Going Pro in 2008. Besides her acting, she is also a model with several appearances on mainstream media.
Kari was born in 1986 in Colorado, US. However, she was raised in several places including Denver, Iowa, and California. For most of her childhood, she was a tomboy. She would ride horses and compete in sports with the other boys. She has cited her mother as her main inspiration in the pursuit of her goals because she taught her planning and setting goals from the time she was young.
Kari attended the Highland Ranch High School. There, she managed to make it to 49th position in the entire nation by prepvolleyball.com. She graduated with the school’s class of 2003. The year after, she got named All-Colorado by the Rocky Mountain News. That same year, she also garnered her first all-state honors.
She then joined the University of Florida on a full scholarship over Hawaii-Southern California and Minnesota because of its great program, atmosphere and coaching staff. Whilst there, she became known as a famous University of Florida volleyball player. While in her junior year, she succumbed to an ankle injury that hindered her from playing again. She graduated from university in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications.
Modeling
Kari started modeling while still in high school. She appeared on the covers of magazines such as Campus Girls USA, CoverGirl, self, and Yoga Magazine. She, however, stopped modeling so that she could focus on her volleyball. After getting injured in volleyball, she relocated to Los Angeles to further pursue her acting and modeling career.
With time, Kari became a correspondent and spokesperson for the National Volleyball Association upon its formation. She also founded the Feeding Soles project. The project is designed to help inner-city kids in need.

Kari was born to Sam (father) and Lisa Klinkenborg (mother). Besides her, she has three sisters. Recently, she married Ryan Anderson, a renown basketball player. The couple got married on the 6th of August 2017. They have been together ever since. Besides that, there were rumors a while back that Kari was dating Terrell Owens, a football wide receiver.
