The parents of Anthony Huber, whom Kyle Rittenhouse killed during civil unrest in Wisconsin last year, said they were heartbroken and angry that the perpetrator pleaded not guilty and was set free.
Kyle Rittenhouse’s name popped all over social media after he shot and killed two men and injured another during the civil unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020.
The unrest took place after a white policeman killed Jacob Blake, a man from the black community.
Rittenhouse traveled to Wisconsin with an illegal AR-15 style rifle. During the protest, he was confronted by three men who attempted to stop him.
Needless to say, no one was successful and they ended getting killed and severely injured. Joseph Rosenbaum was the first victim whom Rittenhouse shot and killed.
Moments after he shot Rosenbaum, the second victim, Anthony Huber, chased him and hit him with a skateboard. Rittenhouse then fatally shot Huber in the chest, reported Fox News.
Huber died of his injuries. The third victim was Gaige Grosskreutz. He is alive and testified against Rittenhouse in court.

Who Are Karen Bloom and John Huber? Anthony Huber Parents
Anthony Huber’s parents, Karen Bloom and John Huber are devastated after the jury ruled in favor of Kyle Rittenhouse,
According to Newsweek, Huber’s family said they were ‘heartbroken and angry’ that Rittenhouse did not plead guilty for his crime.
Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree intentional homicide and four other felony charges. On Friday, he was acquitted of all the charges against him on the ground that he acted in self-defense.
Karen and John, in a statement released by the law firm representing them, said the verdict showed there was no accountability for Rittenhouse’s crimes.
They added that the Rittenhouse walking free meant any civilian can show up anywhere in any town and just shoot people wherever they like.
Further arguing that the perpetrator did not act in self-defense, Huber’s parents claimed Rittenhosue traveled to Kenosha with the intention to kill.
They also remembered their late son with affection and requested viewers to keep Huber in their prayers.
