Kalpesh Thakor is known to be a jilted love from Gujrat.
He reportedly killed a student called Trisha Solanki after she rejected him. According to the source, the murderer was obsessed with the 19-year-old girl.
He had also been harassing her for the last four years. On March 22, 2022, her body was found near Dhaniyavi village close to the National highway.
In addition to that, the victim hailed from Samdi village in Godhra. She lived with her maternal uncle and was preparing for competitive exams. Further, local police arrested Kalpesh, shortly after the crime took place. He admitted to the crime, during an interrogation.

As per the report, the local police discovered the victim’s right hand was chopped off. She’d also suffered deep cuts on her face, neck, and body. Police immediately arrested the jilted lover and seized the weapon used for the crime.
Authorities revealed that the accused knew the girl for four years and harassed her. It was blatant one-sided love that when spurned, led him to kill her. During interrogation, he confessed that he was angry at Solanki for not reciprocating his love. He even blackmailed her to become his friend three years ago. Later, he insisted to her to meet him but she refused. He then decided to kill her.
He convinced her to come to an isolated place where he hit her on her nape before stabbing her. The victim was stabbed multiple times and one of her hands was chopped.
Further, investigating is ongoing and the local police officer is yet to file the charge sheet.
