Kalank Spoilers
Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha’s Kalank is all set to release this April. Being one of the most-anticipated films of the year, the excitement and buzz is sky-high. Amidst all this, the makers dropped the first look of the film. And we have to say it is impressive! The first look poster revealed Varun Dhawan’s stunning avatar as Zafar. But that’s not the only thing they gave out. Through their tweets and the poster, the makers have dropped 5 major spoilers. And as always, we’ve decoded it for you. Read on:
# Epic battle sequences: We already know that Kalank is a period drama about two families during the 1940s. Reports state that we will even see the partition and how it tears up the nation. Obviously, we will see some war scenes. But if you look at poster, you will realise that it won’t be limited to a few. There is fire and a kind of unrest in the first look poster, clearly making us believe that we will witness some major battle sequences.
# Flamboyant avatar: Apart from Varun Dhawan; Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Karan Johar also tweeted Kalank’s first look poster. All of them mentioned how Varun’s character – Zafar is fearless and flamboyant. In fact, Sonakshi tweeted, “The flamboyant hero of our larger-than-life world. Presenting Zafar! #MenOfKalank.” So clearly, Varun is playing a flamboyant and battle-hardened man, which is bound to excite his fans.
# Bridge connect? In the Kalank first look poster, we even see a man wielding fire on a bridge, making us wonder if it is symbolic or is it a part of Zafar’s character. Is he or someone welding an actual bridge or is it symbolic of Zafar’s character welding the gap between the two warring families? Well, it has us intrigued, what do you have to say?
# Larger than life experience: As Sonakshi Sinha tweeted, “larger-than-life world,” Kalank will be a spectacle. Yes, the movie has not only been mounted on a grand scale, but it is also going to be exquisite. Each and every frame as well as the story will be a treat to watch. The detailing in the poster as well as Varun’s character is proof of it.
# Epic dialogues: Apart from the grandeur and the characters, we feel the dialogues will be epic too. How? Well, Varun tweeted one of the dialogues and it is hard-hitting and how! Along with his first look, he wrote, “uss mulk ki sarhad ko koi chhoo nahin sakta, jiss mulk ke sarhad ki nigehbaan hein aankhain (No one can touch the borders of the nation whose eyes keep a watch on the border).” This is a dialogue taken from the lyrics of a song, but such punchlines will be a part of the movie and it will surely elevate the experience.
