Kuppusamy Annamalai (born 4th June 1984), also known as K. Annamalai IPS, is a political leader and the state president of the Bharatiya Janata political party in Tamil Nadu.

He was nominated as the head of the Bharatiya Janata political party in Tamil Nadu by the party’s national president, J. P. Nadda, after joining the party in August 2020.

K. Annamalai IPS is also a reputable Indian police officer, and he had his first posting as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) with Karnataka police in the year 2013.

Later on, he took over as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Udupi in Chikmagalur.

K. Annamalai IPS was born on the 4th day of June in the year 1984. The 37-year-old political leader hails from Sokkampatti village in Chinnatharapuram, Karur.

K. Annamalai IPS is well known for working with the police force. He was also among the 2011 batch of IPS officers, and he began his police career by occupying the position of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

A few years later, K. Annamalai IPS was promoted to the Superintendent of Police (SP) position, and he served as an SP for a year. He later got transferred to the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka and continued as an SP till October 2018. Years later, he got promoted as a Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru south, in 2018.

K. Annamalai IPS is also the amiable founder of an NGO group named We the Leaders Foundation (WTLF). The foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes organic agriculture, modern agriculture tech and other training activity.

He is a man with a large heart. He founded IAS coaching institutions solemnly dedicated to coaching poor and deserving candidates in Karur and Coimbatore districts.

K. Annamalai IPS is also the state president of the Bharatiya Janata political party in Tamil Nadu. He was nominated as the head of the Bharatiya Janata political party in Tamil Nadu by the party’s national president, J.P. Natta, on 8 July 2021. He officially joined Bharatiya Janata Party on 25 August 2020.
