Justin Simmons is an American footballer with the Denver Broncos.
Simmons was chosen by the Denver Broncos in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft (98th overall). In 2016, Simmons was selected as the sixth safety.
In addition to participating in private workouts with the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints, Simmons also visited the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions before to the draft.
Simmons was predicted by NFL draft analysts and scouts to be selected in the third round at the completion of the pre-draft process.
DraftScout.com listed him as the sixth-best safety prospect in the draft, and Scouts Inc. and NFL expert Mike Mayock both ranked him as the fourth-best free safety prospect.
