Биография

Родился 21 апреля 1945 года в Ленинграде.

В 1968 году окончил Ленинградское высшее художественно-промышленное училище имени Веры Мухиной по специальности «Художник по керамике и стеклу».

С 1970 года — художник-декоратор, а с 1971 года и по 1991 год — художник-постановщик киностудии «Ленфильм».

Жена — известная советская актриса, народная артистка РСФСР Елена Соловей. Дети: дочь Ирина и сын Павел.

Осенью 1991 года всей семьёй эмигрировали в США.

Работал в театре и на телевидении, преподавал в Нью-Йоркском университете, сотрудничал с галереями.
Умер 8 июня 2019 года.
