Meet Julius Cowdrey Mum Christel Cowdrey

Julius Cowdrey mum Christel Cowdrey is a award-winning author and voice-over artist. Christel raised Julius to have a voice.

Born in 1993 in Canterbury, Kent, he comes from a wealthy bloodline, with his parents having Swedish origin. His grandad played cricket for Oxford University and Kent County Cricket Club, receiving a knighthood in 1992. His father followed a similar track, playing for Kent.

Meanwhile, his mother had a drastically different career as a best-selling author, nonfiction writer, and accredited mediator.

Indeed, she was a creative director for Noblesse Weddings & Retreats Ltd for three years, as she managed the hospitality and creative areas. During her tenure at the institution, she began writing in 2014 after co-authoring Imagine A Healthy You.

She freelanced as a client relationship specialist while holding positions as a delegate, mediator, online coaching series for Champion Academy Ltd, contributing writer for Sociologicalmail, and a creative writer for Television & Radio & Voiceover engagements.

Before that, she was already dabbing in the voiceover area by voicing nonfiction, children’s books, and advertisements. Her Swedish, French and Spanish proficiency helped her translate her self-authored books.

She had kept busy for the last decades but still found time to support her son through the smallest of his achievements, posting on  Twitter about The Noel Bruce Rackets Tournament at Queens. The young man has remained just devoted to his birth giver, uploading a never-before-seen picture of the two vacationing in front of the ocean.

Julius Was Supposed To Be A Cricketer

29-year-old Julius would become a cricketer if he wished to do so. He instead chose a different career path and became a singer.

He does from a lineage of proficient athletes as he and his twin brother Fabian Cowdrey followed the family tradition and played for Kent County Cricket Club.

While still staying at Tonbridge School, he found his passion rage for singing as he wrote his first song when he was only 16. His time in the School Choir only highlighted his aspirations as he introduced live music to London’s West End nightclub Mahiki in 2013.

He became a well-known name in the music scene and split his time between London and New York. He got called to Hollywood to headline rooftop parties as he dropped his debut single, 7 Roads, three years later.

The tune went straight to Number one on the UK official iTunes singer-songwriter chart while missing the first position in the Spotify UK Viral Chart. After overcoming the milestones, he wished to expand his horizons and accepted an offer from the reality series, Made In Chelsea.

His tanned physique and socially elite status made him the perfect candidate, as the creators immediately called him to join the troop.
