What Happened To Peach? Julien Solomita Provides An Update
One of the greyhounds of Julien Peach has been ill with a back injury. Julien updated her condition through a Youtube video.
Julien revealed everything in an Instagram story that was shared on Reddit following a visit to the vet. She reportedly had back problems that would eventually cause her to be unable to support her weight. In late November 2022, she underwent spinal surgery.
One Reddit user said at the end of November that Peach had been on crate rest for a while due to a back issue, but she lost her ability to support herself over the weekend. They suspected it was a disc problem.
However, on 11/26/22, there was an update that Peach had the surgery and is still recovering; they discovered and removed a mass near her spinal cord.
Peach’s spine appeared to slip back into place after the surgery. Peach is making good progress and seems to be regaining motor function. She is recovering from surgery and may require physical therapy when she recovers from the surgery.
One user named Kalin commented that as a vet tech, hearing “exploratory” is usually a scary thing. It’s truly a miracle that they found the problem and fixed it. Peach is so blessed. So happy she’s on her way to recovery. I would be a mess if it were my baby.
Many people commented on their dog’s excellent health, and Julien and his fiance are overwhelmed by people’s love and affection.
Julien Solomita Loves Greyhound Dogs
Julien Solomita has various dogs in his house among them are his greyhound dogs which are often seen in his videos.
When Julien and his fiancée chose to get the greyhound, they spotted several hounds. They didn’t have much experience aside from their studies and eagerness to meet the breed.
They were starting from scratch and considering a dog like Bunny, who had several behavioral issues. She was terrified of many things.
Many greyhounds are rescued from the track, but Bunny came from a company where she was a blood donor dog. Based on their history and the amount of time spent in those conditions, these dogs can present with various behavioral difficulties, but some have none.
Julien’s other dog’s name is Peach. She loves Julien, who has been doting on her since she was picked up. Bunny expresses her gratitude to the owner by zooming in whenever she is with him. Peach, the dog, has been in serious condition for the previous few weeks.
