Julie Walters Age: How old is Julie Walters?

Julie Walters, sometimes known as Julia Mary Walters, was born at St. Chad’s Hospital in Edgbaston, Birmingham, England, on February 22, 1950. She was Thomas Walters’ and Mary Bridget Walters’ child. Thomas, an English builder, and decorator, came from a different background than Mary, an Irish Catholic postal clerk from County Mayo.

The BBC’s “Who Do You Think You Are?” genealogy program claims that Julia’s maternal relatives participated actively in the Irish Land War in the nineteenth century.

Her grandfather Thomas Walters, who served with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and participated in the Second Boer War, tragically perished in World War I in June 1915.

At the Le Touret Memorial in France, he is remembered. Southwick’s Bearwood neighborhood, at 69 Bishopton Road, was home to the Walters family.

Julie Walters was the third child to survive birth and the youngest of five children. She first attended St. Paul’s School for Girls in Edgbaston and afterward Holly Lodge Grammar School for Girls in Smethwick for her early schooling.

She recalled in a 2014 interview with Alison Oddey that she was asked to leave Holly Lodge at the conclusion of her lower sixth owing to her “high jinks,” which put an end to her stay there.
