Julia Hartley-Brewer Greta Thunberg: What Did Julia Hartley-Brewer Say About Greta Thunberg?

Greta Thunberg, a teen climate activist, got into a public argument with commentator Andrew Tate earlier this week, prompting Julia Hartley-Brewer, a controversial TalkTV host, to come under criticism for allegedly “mocking” Thunberg’s autism. Later, Hartley-Brewer withdrew the post in favor of one that had been revised to omit the term “autistic.”

The then-Defence Secretary, Sir Michael Fallon, was accused by Hartley-Brewer in October 2017 of repeatedly touching her knee during a dinner in 2002; this accusation helped lead to his departure.

Following a TV broadcast in which Hartley-Brewer commented on a family portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip was taken in 2018, there were more than 200 complaints in April 2021 accusing Hartley-Brewer of trivializing racism.
