Josiah Moore went missing nearly a month ago and is yet to be found. Here is what happened.
It has been nearly a month that a teenage girl went missing from outside Poppie’s Deli on Central Avenue in East Orange. That was the last location where she was seen.
She has not returned back some since then but even the police have not been able to find her. The search is still going on and the reward money for those who have any leads has risen to $20,000.
Update On Josiah Moore Missing Case
Josiah Moore, also called Jashyah has been missing for almost a month now. The case is now taken over by Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II stated his office had taken over the investigation and would now be in charge. He said that more than 50 law enforcement were following up on old and new leads in Orange and East Orange.
According to officials, the 14 years old teenager went grocery shopping who did make it back home as well. However, she went back to go search for her mother’s credit card that she lost on the way.

Since then her mother did not hear from her. In CCTV footage, there is an old man who can be seen paying for her items. The investigators said that the man in the footage had been very cooperative during the inquiry.
The police have said that they have other footage as well but will not release it so that the investigation can go on without any problem.
Who Are Josiah Moore Parents?- Her Mother In Distress
Josiah Moore’s parent is her mother Jamie Moore. There have been no details about her father on the internet.
Her mother can be seen in the search party as well. She has been desperately searching for her daughter since she was reported missing.
In the recent search, she said that she would find her even though she has to die searching for her. She believes that her daughter has not run away and someone might have actually abducted her.

She also requested in the media that whoever has gotten her, she would not bother to find them and they could just drop her daughter off in the police station. She just wants her daughter safe and alive.

Josiah Moore is not found yet. The police have been aggressively flowing the information about her on social media. They are asking the citizens for help.
They have added $5000 in the previous reward money which was $15000 for those who can provide any lead related to the case.
