Early in January, Jaynes was let go for including a statement in his sworn declaration that former interim Chief Yvette Gentry deemed untrue.

Taylor’s ex-boyfriend Jamarcus Glover who was a suspected drug trafficker was having parcels sent to her apartment, according to Jaynes, who claimed to have confirmed this through a U.S. Postal Inspector.
