A native of New Zealand, Joseph Day lived in the Clifton area of Bristol, and he went missing on the 30th of April 2022. A few days later, a body recovered from Avon Gorge, identified as the cameraman.

His disappearance left his family and friends worried sick as it was out of his character; Day was empathetic, funny, generous, creative, humble, kind, gentle, clever, and protective.

Joseph last got spotted in the upmarket Clifton area of Bristol, where he lived with Kelsey Mulcahy, his partner of five years. Kelsey was in London the day he went missing for a girls’ weekend, and the pair had been texting back and forth.

Furthermore, Day and Mulcahy were planning to return home at the end of the year to get married, and they also bought tickets to watch Chris Rock in London in a few weeks. However, he left Kelsey alone, and his body got found three days after he mysteriously vanished.
