Jorge Garcia Weight Loss
Besides her long curly hair, another hallmark of Garcia is her weight. Prior to filming LOST, Garcia reportedly lost around 30 pounds of weight which he regained again during the show.
Garcia’s weight soon became a concern for his cast members and friends who feared he might lose his life to a heart attack or other fatal weight-related illnesses. In 2012, Garcia tried a diet called “Nooch,” another word for nutritional yeast, but it didn’t seem to work well.

Further concerns were raised in 2014 when the weight hit 400 pounds. A source close to the actor told the National Enquirer that gastric bypass surgery may be Garcia’s only hope of losing weight. The gastric bypass procedure allows overweight people to feel full faster, which helps them lose weight in the process.
As of 2017, images of Garcia still show him with a big body. Maybe the actor is comfortable with the way he is or is secretly trying other ways to stay healthy.

Jorge Garcia Wife / Married
Garcia dated from 2004 to 2006 from Malia Hansen. Garcia began dating novelist and Lost co-star Bethany Leigh Shady in 2007. She joined Garcia to host his podcast, Geronimo Jack’s Beard. During the height of their relationship, Garcia and Shady appeared together at red carpet events and posted photos of each other on social media.
They remained together until 2013 when many began to speculate that the pair had broken up as they were no longer seen together publicly. However, neither party has since commented on their relationship.
Despite the apparent breakup, many speculate that the couple are still together and could even be married, while keeping their relationship away from the prying eyes of the media who often seem to ridicule the obvious size difference.
As likely as it sounds, it’s also possible that the couple have broken up and Garcia is seeing someone else safe from Edia’s attention.
