Filipino American star, Jordan Clarkson is one of the popular stars in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is a professional basketball player and as of the time of this report plays for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, having made the draft in 2014.

Youth and rise to fame
The Cavaliers guard was born on June 7, 1992 in Tampa, Florida. He was raised here for some time before his family later moved to San Antonio.
Jordan received her high school diploma from Karen Wagner High School. Upon graduation, he went to the University of Tulsa before transferring to the University of Missouri in 2013. His college career was significant for various accomplishments such as building the freshmen team C-USA in 2011 and first team. All-C-USA in 2012. In 2014, he made the All-SEC second team.
As has been clearly pointed out, he had a very successful college career at both universities and it was because of this that he made it and was picked in the 2014 NBA Draft.
He became the only second Filipino-born player since 1978 to play in the National Basketball Association; the first was Raymond Townsend who played until 1982.
Professional career
After the Washington Wizards picked him, they immediately traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers and that’s where he launched his professional runs. At the end of his freshman season, he was made an NBA All-Star First Team. It was even more important because he couldn’t play many games in the first half of the season.
Jordan remained with the team until 2018 when he moved to the Cleveland Cavaliers after he and Larry Nance Jr. were traded for guard Isaiah Thomas and forward Channing Frye. The deal would give the Lakers the first-round pick in the 2018 draft.
His professional career is so far achievements, including NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2015, Rookie of the Month in March of the same year, as well as participation in the 2016 Rising Stars Challenge.

When Jordan was still young, his father, MikeClarkson, and mother, Annette Davis, divorced. As noted, he is Filipino American; while her father is American (African American), her mother is from the Philippines.
After the divorce of his parents, his father who was in the army decided to marry Janie Clarkson, to whom he is close.
The Cavaliers point guard whose mother is from Pampanga, Philippines, said he was very proud to be half-Filipino. After his parents divorced, he became closer to his mother and grandmother who taught him more about Filipino culture.
Even when his parents were still together, he remembered growing up in poverty. He has a brother named Bear Clarkson.
Since 2015, her father has suffered from a form of cancer known as carcinoma which affects the lower back around the spine.
His Girlfriend – Relationship with Kendall Jenner
In the past, Jordan Clarkson has been involved with a good number of women including American model, Chanel Iman and Chantel Jeffries. He is also said to have dated Bella Hadid. That said, his most significant relationship was with Kendall Jenner who he dated from 2016 to 2017.
The dating rumor between the two started after they were spotted at Coachella. While it’s unclear how the two met, the basketball player is known to have been close with the models and dated a number of them in the past. Nonetheless, Jordan and Jenner couldn’t last long before moving on, and it was after that that he was linked to Bella Hadid. In response to the report that she was dating him, the model responded with the question “Am I?”.
