Prior to joining New Kids on the Block, Knight worked at Burger King and a pizza shop. He began singing when he was young when he was a choirboy.

From 1986 to 1994, Knight was a member of the American boy band “New Kids on the Block”. They sold 80 million records worldwide and then broke up in 1994 after touring the album “Face Music” (1994).

Continued the tour and claimed that he was seriously injured by a horse, but at a press conference a few weeks later, they revealed that they had actually broken up.

In the spring of 2008, Knight returned to the entertainment industry and met with the other four members of the “New Kid” in the block. On September 2, 2008, they released their seventh album (this was the first album in 14 years).

To confirm their reunion and announce the release of their new album, they performed their first live performance on May 16, 2008. for the first time in fifteen years on the Today show, a world tour was planned, to follow the new release and began in Toronto on September 18, 2008.
