Jonathan Diego Menéndez, commonly known as Jony (born 5 March 1994), is an Argentine professional footballer who plays for Talleres de Córdoba .
Football career
Born in Buenos Aires, Jony started his career with hometown’s Chacarita Juniors, and made his debut as a professional on 5 June 2011, starting in a 0–0 draw at Boca Unidos for the Primera B Nacional championship. He appeared in two further matches during the campaign, as his side finished in a comfortable mid-table position.
On 1 February 2012 Jony moved abroad for the first time in his career, joining Sevilla FC. However, due to bureaucratic problems, he only played for the Juvenil squad.
