American actor, screenwriter, film director and comedian, Jonathan Kolia “Jon” Favreau, has an estimated net worth of $60 million. An actor whose solid everyman quality has endeared him to audiences and critics alike, Jon Favreau first made his name with 1996’s Swingers. The story of a group of rat pack-obsessed, out-of-work actors slumming amiably through life in L.A., the indie-comedy was one of the year’s biggest sleeper hits and made a star out of Favreau, who also wrote the script.
Jon Favreau is most widely recognized for his directing work on such films as the “Iron Man” franchise, “Elf”, and “Zathura”. He has also appeared in such films and television shows as, “Deep Impact”, “Swingers”, “Friends”, and “The King of Queens”. A native of Queens, NY, where he was born on October 19, 1966, Favreau was raised as the only child of two educators.
Initially an indie film favorite, Jon Favreau has progressed to strong mainstream visibility into the millennium and, after nearly two decades in the business, is still enjoying character stardom as well as earning notice as a writer/producer/director.
