Delaina Joseph is well-known for being the wife of American cornerback footballer, Johnathan Joseph. In a victory over the Chicago Bears, Joseph had a solid start to the 2016 NFL season, making four tackles and diverting a ball.
He made eight solo tackles and another pass deflection in a 24-21 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He did, however, sustain a rib injury during a game against the Green Bay Packers, which forced him to miss two contests.
Joseph had a strong season despite the setback caused by injury, finishing with 45 tackles (38 solo) and nine pass deflections, albeit he failed to intercept a pass for the first time in his career. With a 9-7 record, the Texans won the AFC South.
Joseph signed a contract with the Tennessee Titans after the 2019 campaign. He made his first interception and forced fumble as a Titan during a game against the Minnesota Vikings, which helped the team to a 31-30 victory.
However, he allowed eight completions for 92 yards and a touchdown in a defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals. On November 3, the Titans released Joseph.
On November 11, 2020, not long after being released, the Arizona Cardinals signed Joseph. He made his debut in a victory over the Buffalo Bills, but on December 12 he was later put on injured reserve.
Despite being injured, Joseph had a long and distinguished career as an NFL cornerback that had made him a valued player for any team.
Johnathan Joseph Wife: Meet Delaina Joseph
Jonathan Joseph wed DeLaina Joseph in Florida in April 2011. 120 purple-bejeweled chairs were used for their wedding ceremony, which stood out as an outrageous addition compared to other weddings of professional athletes.
The ceremony was elegant overall, and the reception was held in the spacious lobby of the Fort Lauderdale W Hotel. It seemed more like a pep rally than a wedding while the preacher was speaking during the ceremony. He concluded by saying, “Johnathan, oh Johnathan, you may kiss your bride.”
Johnathan appears to have a large family because he frequently poses for photos with his sister Johnika, who has quite unusual name.
Recently, DeLaina advertised “Tailgating 4 A Cure,” a nonprofit organization that raises money for cancer research, on a number of media outlets, including Houston’s ABC channel 13. They resemble Cecil Shorts and his wife Chanel Shorts in that they appear to be a devout couple who enjoy luxury living in the Houston region.
